Wilmington, NC is also the home of the USCGC Diligence as well as the USS North Carolina Battleship memorial located just across the river from the downtown riverfront. You may also enjoy a tour of the EUE Screen Gems studio which opened in 1984 and is the largest domestic television and production studio outside of California and home to the third largest sound-stage in the US and features the largest special effects water tank in North America.
